HERE'S SOME OF THE EVENTS THAT WE'RE BRINGING TO NEVADA
National Championships
The 2018 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships will be held at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park in Reno, Nevada on December 8, 2018. 3500 of our youth from across the country ranging in ages from 7 to 18 years old will be competing to claim they are a National Champion! They all had to qualify in their Regional Championships so they are the best of the best!
International curling competition
The 2019 World Financial Group Continental Cup will be held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 17 to January 20, 2019. This is a curling event much like golf's Ryder Cup with Team North America (Canada and the United States) versus Team World (the best curlers in the rest of the world) competing in multiple formats. So much fun to watch!
A celebration of the begining of the modern day Olympics
We celebrate World Olympic Day every year on a Friday close to the 23rd of June by bringing around 1000 of our local youth from all the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Nevada and the youth from the city of Reno and Sparks summer programs to Reno High School. We setup 12 to 15 different activities for them to try most being Olympic sports. They get to see and talk to local Olympians both past and present. This year (2019) we expanded to Las Vegas on June 18 and Reno on June 21st Lots of fun for the kids!
